Wright Travelogue is designed with privacy in mind. All your visit data — photos, notes, checklists — stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.
We collect no personal data. Specifically:
Location access is requested only when you tap "Near Me" on the Map or Sites tab. Your location is used solely to sort sites by proximity and is never stored or transmitted.
Camera and photo library access is requested only when you log a visit and choose to add photos. Photos you select are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded anywhere. When you share a visit card, photos may be temporarily written to local storage to generate the shareable image.
When you choose to share a visit card via email, the app opens your device's mail composer with a pre-filled message and image attachment. Wright Travelogue does not access your email account, contacts, or inbox — the mail composer is handled entirely by your operating system.
The map view uses Apple Maps (on iOS), which is subject to Apple's privacy policy. No other third-party analytics or advertising services are used.
Wright Travelogue does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and note the change in the App Store release notes.
